Trips, service projects, and events by month
Crew 99’s traditional trips and service projects throughout the year. Below is a month-by-month overview of our core program.
Trip – The Rodney Games: From a cabin overlooking the Chesapeake Bay, Scouts split into themed teams (pirates, Hogwarts, Star Wars, The Office, Camp Half-Blood, Looney Tunes, etc.) and compete in skill-based challenges across the campus. The weekend ends with songs and ghost stories around a massive beach bonfire.

Service – Cheltenham Harvest Festival: Scouts assist the police with parking and staff a troop recruiting table. (Check CheltenhamTownship.org for dates.)
Service – Food Drive: Held the weekend before Thanksgiving at O’Neill’s in Keswick. Crew 99 consistently collects the most food of any unit in the council.
